My Discovery of Sybil Leek and My Path

516Qv4LQjgL__SL500_AA300_

I was born with memories and as I grew I did not forget those memories as most seem to do. Sometimes, I think that, in its primary sense along with the Sight, is what made me seem so different from other children and I suppose from adults as well. But when I was a young child, I did not think I was different than anyone else. I “knew” things, but I always understood visions or “the knowing” to be like pages in a book. While reading one page can tell you many things, it does not reflect the full story … Continue reading

Supporting the Pagan and Wiccan Community

Support

It was not too long ago (in my lifetime) that information and materials for our beliefs were extremely limited.  Underground music and books were written in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s out of a labor of love and not as money making ventures.  Most never even covered the costs of producing and making those materials available. While we have a great deal more available books, music, fiction, and information available directly and on the internet today, it is still a labor of love.  It’s important to keep in mind that creating for our religion (unlike other mainstream religions) is still … Continue reading

B is for Bullies ~ Pagan Bullies in the Community (Readers Choice) ~ Pagan Blog Project 2012

Every social group manifested on the mundane has bullies, but sometimes, I think our Community has a special breed because they not only bully on the surface level (emotionally and mentally), but oftentimes they go deeper with psychic bullying and sometimes incorporating chaos workings as a tool to effectuate their bullying. I find it interesting at times, that some people in the Community are unwilling to recognize or call out a bully or admit that they are, in fact, being bullied by another person in the Community. Bullying doesn’t belong in our Community, but that doesn’t mean we should pretend … Continue reading

Apologies ~ Posting Delays Due to Nasty Head Colds

After being down with two back-to-back colds, I have come to the conclusion that creativity must be located in the sinus cavities. When one is congested so is the other. Will be back with some new features shortly (tomorrow). Brightest of Blessings, Mead Muse

Why Sites are Protesting Against SOPA

I won’t be shutting down my site today, but I won’t be posting any blog content today in support of SOPA. Here’s a video to help explain the issues with SOPA. We don’t need any legislation that permits the government to overregulate the internet. Remember what happened in Egypt? The government’s first attempt to “control” the masses who were rightly protesting was by shutting down and controlling the lines of communication. This isn’t the Cold War days anymore. Occupy your internet.

Minority Within The Minority ~ Black Pagans & Wiccans

blackloveart2

Martin Luther King Day has prompted me to reflect upon the minorities within our own minority of the Community. I have had conversations in the past with Black Pagans and Wiccans and have to admit that once the conversations moved to the arena of what it’s like to be a Black Pagan or Wiccan, it was a little awkward for several reasons. However, it was interesting to learn through the conversations with Black Pagans and Wiccans that some of them were common and shared. Probably the most awkward part of the conversations was overcoming the issue of whether or not I would … Continue reading
