Welcome to my 100% wytch run website! The website is the result of an evolving process starting with a simple blog over five years ago. I really hope you enjoy yourself and feel free to ask questions or post comments! Due to several factors, comments will not show until approved, but be assured that I will respond.
I suppose I should just accept that I am not the youngest wytch on the block anymore. I have been around the Pagan and Wiccan Community since the late 1970′s and early 1980′s so I am better described as a tweener coming in on the later part of the the Old School movement and beginning of the New School movement in the Community.
In Old School Craft training, you were expected and required to have a wide general knowledge of multiple subjects to be able to train new Seekers and then specialize from there to contribute your knowledge and skills within your coven. We wrote everything by hand and the only “chat group” at the time was sitting around in a circle. The good old days. I’ve watch the Community evolve from being extremely underground to its current emergence into the mainstream and am looking forward to what the future might bring us.
May the Lord and Lady guide and protect those who follow their ways.
Brightest of Blessings,
Mead Muse

I couldn’t agree more. I was initiated into the Alexandrian tradition in the 80s, and things were so different back then.
Although I am strongly grounded in the Traditional way of doing things, I do understand the new movement, and the need for sharing and opening up the door a crack more than used to be allowed.
There will always be Mysteries which are Oath Bound, however I am a strong believer in the point that just because you HAVE the knowledge of a working, doesn’t mean the WISDOM it contains is automatically yours. The Mysteries are found and obtained in the DOING, and only She decides who is worthy to RECEIVE.
Bast Blessings!

I was raised catholic never believed in institutionalized religion, would like help in finding my goddess and honing the gifts i do have
Just like any belief system, you start by educating yourself. Read. Read alot. I think in many ways, you’ll find similarities between Mary and the Goddess. To seek the Goddess, as with Mary, pray. We pray to our Mother just as Catholics pray to Mary.
Actually the main difference is that we do not limit the vision of our Great Mother in all her aspects to only being the mother of a divine king. To us, she is complete and not defined solely by that one act. She is mother to us all.
Brightest of Blessings on your journey! Mead Muse
Muse,
forgive the familiarity but its just my way. I questing the “loosed thread” which I have been persuing for all these years, I have found myself in Martinez GA…and had a thought “Doh check FB! And here I find you. Am new to the area and have dispaired at the thought of no pagan folk here either. Just looking for the folk. I am an old pagan, of the more or less welsh/Cymry and have been doing what I do for many years. I am 55 in a couple of days and have been aware almost since birth…I only found out what it was I was aware of at the age of 14. so theres my readers digest version bio. I am not really looking for a coven as such yet congress with others of my ilk would be more than welcome.
Given the chance I would run on & on. So saying I wish you all blessings both dark & light! RavenstaR
