T. Thorn Coyle ~ 28 Pagan Musicians in 28 Days Series 2012

T. Thorn Coyle is an all around fixture in the Wiccan and Pagan Community.  From activism, to workshops, to podcasting, her amazing talents continue to shine with every venture she reaches towards.  I touched briefly on her status as an activist in The Faces of Wiccan and Pagan Activism article and there will be more articles in the future on her other talents as well.

Thom comes to us from the Feri tradition of Cora and Victor Anderson.  She has also studied in the Sufi and Gurdjieff traditions and credits the punk and anarchist movements as important influences.  She is an internationally respected visionary and teacher of the magical and esoteric arts. Thorn’s teaching and spiritual direction practices help people worldwide. Pagan, mystic, and activist, Thorn is the founder and head of Solar Cross Temple and Morningstar Mystery School and lives by the San Francisco Bay. The author of Kissing the Limitless and Evolutionary Witchcraft, she hosts the Elemental Castings podcast series, writes a popular weblog, Know Thyself, and has produced several CDs of sacred music.

If you have an opportunity to see her in person at one of her workshops, it an amazing experience.  In addition to having a warm and generous personality, she is engaging and has a masterful and inspiring voice both in music and for her passion of the Community.

The amazing part is that with all her any important projects, she has managed to bring us a single, Hallowed Light, which was released in December of 2011.  Hopefully, she will bring us another album in the near future.

As impressive as the other videos are — and they are moving — Awakened Soul is wonderfully stirring.
